DeleteIIM Shillong is one institute that neither provides data nor follows the RTI rules. I have already filed an appeal in CIC against the same but that takes a long time to be resolved. Thus, we might already be over the admission process by the time we have a result. Thanks and All the Best :)

DeleteI had filed an RTI on IIFT last year to which they still haven't responded or even moved the same. I have now taken it up with the CIC which would take a lot of time though. Thus, IIFT is one institute that does not honor RTI's. I have still filed one though and shall post data on the same as soon as I receive it. Thanks :)

Coming to data related to SP Jain, that would actually not be possible. The reason is that the data I publish is taken using RTI and the same is only applicable on public institutions. In line with the same since SP Jain is a private institute we would never be able to get the data related to the same. Thanks :)

DeleteSo frankly saying IIFT never provided me any data to gauge your chances. But as per the seats and movements of similar institutes and assuming your are general, you might convert IIFT D in a few lists towards the end. But this is purely based on calculation and my experience. Thus, might go the other way as well. Thanks and All the Best :)

I had a query.
Do FMS and top IIMs like A, B, C, K, L have a cut off score for 10th and 12th too ? For example - I've heard that you won't get a call from ABC if you don't have 80+ in 10th and 12th.
Can we get such kind of data from RTI ??

DeleteThanks you so much for your words. I am glad I can contribute in any small way back to the MBA aspirants coming from that stage at one point.
The data about minimum score in 10th and 12th is difficult to get. The reason is the institutes would simply redirect you to their official eligibility criteria. And the reason ABC ask for 80 plus is because inherently all the candidates who apply there are of that caliber. So that increases the score required to get a good weightage while calculating the composite scores.

DeleteI would have sincerely loved to cover not only XLRI but also the other top private B-Schools. However, since the source of all my data is RTI, and private schools do not fall under the ambit of RTI, we can never get data from them. Thanks and All the Best :)

DeleteI would have absolutely loved to do so. However, I get data through RTI and the same can only be filed on public institutes. Since IMT is private it does not fall under the ambit of RTI and so the data cannot be retrieved. Thanks :)

DeleteFirst go for analytics if you good at maths and statistics else the program could be difficult to cope with. And yes IIM Kashipur's analytics program has really low cutoff's so apply and you might have a very good chance. Thanks :)

DeleteYou should convert quite a few colleges from the new and baby IIM categories with significant chances of baby IIMs. For new IIMs too you should be able to convert a few though might need to wait a few lists.

DeleteSee there are 2 things to this. I had mentioned that this is as per your profile and good interview. However, there are chances that sometimes what you feel is good might not be the same for the interviewer and that leads to problems. Still do not lose hope baby IIMs and all have quite a significant movement. So let us see what happens. All the Best :)

DeleteAs per the ranks in your comment, core seems difficult as anything above 180-185 in NC-OBC would be difficult to convert as per the statistics of the past couple of years. However, you might still have a shot at telecom though after few lists. Though please note this is as per my experience over the years. Thanks and All the Best :)

Also, a calculator for CS calculation would be awesome.

I just wanted to last year how many foreign students were admitted to these programmes, (versus total number who applied), and what was the minimum gmat score of the people admitted. I have seen the RTI page on their site but don't know the process and alo am not eligible to file it. Would be very very grateful if you could do so

So in order to get the data you will need file an RTI on the CAT Conducting institute which I suppose was IIM Bangalore. You can file an instant RTI on the online portal. Just search for RTI Online on Google. Give your complete details and mention the queries very clearly on what data you want. Also, there is a fee of INR 10 per RTI query that you need to pay. Coming to your profile, IIT Delhi should give you a call for interview but it will definitely need some efforts from your end to crack the interview. However, I would suggest seeing your profile that if you work for another year where your work ex improves and also increase your CAT percentile, you can also have the holy trinity within reach next year. DeleteOut of old IIMs, there are chances that IIM K, IIM I and even IIM Mumbai might give you a call. Out of IITs all of them should give you a call for interview and same should be the case across all the new and baby IIMs. So prepare well and hard. All the Best :)
