    1. It is decent but for IITs frankly your aim should be IIT B,D or Kharagpur in that order. Especially B and D.

  9. Just wanted to know if these numbers were impacted due to covid and the movement for waitlist has been more for general in 2019 or 2018?

    I wanted to ask won't it be better to apply as a gen candidate rather than an EWS candidate?
    Also,is it true that once a candidate applies through EWS,he/she will only get a seat in EWS AND cannot get a seat in Gen category?

    1. Hey Shubham. Thank you very much for the appreciation. And I would say ideally no applying as an EWS is still better as this is an exceptional case. In most other scores you will see EWS cutoffs are lower.

      Regarding the EWS and General seat thing, you will frankly need to see the central govt. circular on the same to understand if an EWS getting a seat in general on merit basis is possible as is the case with SC and ST categories. Thanks :)
