    1. Hello.
I have filed a first appeal to get the data from the institute since it is playing some tricks to deny the information. However, will post the data as soon as I receive it from the institute. Thanks :)

    1. Hi Faizan.
I am really glad that I could contribute back in any small way to the MBA community.

OBC-290 as per the stats over the years I have seen should give you a convert. However, you might need to wait for a few lists before getting the convert. Also, though please note this is as per my experience and will also depend on the buffer calls given by the institute. Thanks and All the Best :)

    1. Hello.
Frankly saying as per the stats and my experience you are on the edge. And even if you convert it might be somewhere in the last list. However, please note it can go other way as well as no one can say with 100 percent surety. Thanks and All the Best :)

Yes as per the trends I have seen over the years 120 should give you a convert at IIM N. However, please note this is as per trends and my experience over the years. Thanks :)

  7. Hi ronit, my wailist number is SC/96, i know it will be a convert in 4/5th list, but is there anyway to publish the waitlist faster by mailing to College with genuine reason, because in my case i have converted amritsar and last date to withdraw with refund is 26th june and as per waitlist of 2020 my chance would be in July's waitlist!
    So i just need a waitlist 4-5 day's prior
Also can you provide the waitlist movement for 2021 to tally the waitlist movement please! Also do you suggest taking risk and cancellung amritsar offer and wait for a week for Nagpur , because i am getting anxiety attacks everyday thinking about the same, need your guidance please and would like to connect and discuss with you, if you could help me
And once again thank you for your efforts, khup helpful aahe tujhaa haa data

    1. Hi Harshal.
SC 96 should be a convert in a couple of lists as you have stated. But regarding publishing the waitlist faster, there is no chance of that happening. The situation of yours is same as thousands of others who have converted multiple institutes and the same occurs every year. Yet no college will release waitlists faster simply because of the calculations involved in each list.

Regarding the waitlist movement, sadly I do not have it as the institute did not give the same to me. Regarding the risk, do not make this mistake. If any untoward scene you do not convert you will lose out the one you have as well so do not cancel till at least 20th June !!!!

And of course we can discuss drop in an email to me and I will share my no. on the same. Thanks and All the Best :)

    1. Hello.
According to the trends I have seen for last 2 yrs this should be a convert. But this year the institutes have given an exceptional no. of buffer calls due to which I might give an 80 percent surety. Also, please note this is as per my experience over the years. Thanks and All the Best :)

  9. Hello sir,
My ews waitlist no. is 52 so are there any chances for me to convert??

    1. Hello.
As per the current trends I have been seeing institutes have rolled out a lot of buffer calls this year. However, even with that you should have a chance of converting EWS-52 in subsequent lists. However, please note that this is as per my experience. Thanks and All the Best :)

  10. Waitlisted SC 115,in 2021-23 total waitlist movment was 155 in SC ,as IIM N now have new campus does this factor will affect waitlist movment! Your opinion

    1. Hello.
Having a permanent campus definitely adds weightage to the brand value of the institute. However, this year a major factor has also been the extensive buffer calls rolled out by the institutes. Though I still feel you should convert by one of the last lists. But please note this is as per my experience over the years. Thanks :)

    1. HI Chaitanya.
As per the trends and buffer calls I have been seeing this year frankly it seems very difficult to convert. And even if you do it might be by the last list. Though please note this is as per my experience. Thanks and All the Best :)

  12. Hello, as per the details available on IIM Nagpur pagalguy 2021-2023 group, the cut off for GEN(5.433), EWS (4.684), NCOBC(4.419), ST (2.061), SC(2.549) & PWD (1.853).
This is according to the last list (6th list) of 2021-2023,

Where in 3rd list of 2022-24 cut off for GEN(5.717), EWS (3.838), NC OBC (4.414), ST (2.155) which is quite close to the last list of 2021-23, but the Cut off for SC is 3.899 which is nearly twice than the last year list, why this much variation is happening in perticular one category! Can you share your views.

    1. Hello.
First of all I am not sure about the data you have posted as the one I have has been provided in official authority by the institute so not sure about the same.

Secondly the data related to SC category. The CS are always unpredictable and you never know due to the new campus there might have been a sudden spurge in admissions. But again this is just pure speculation and I am frankly not sure of this. We will though need to wait for the final data to see if there really is a significant increase. Thanks :)

    1. Hello.
With the admissions being closed as you have stated it is frankly difficult for the list to move now as other institutes too have started their academic sessions. Thanks and All the Best :)
