    1. Hi Naren.
I am glad this data is useful for many candidates and I could give back in any small way to the MBA community. Thanks :)

  2. why is the PwD CAT percentile not mentioned for either of the years? what could be the potential reason for it?

    1. Hello.
I too don't know about the reason but the institute somehow always missed this data. I have filed a first appeal now to get the data which hopefully I would be getting soon. Thanks :)

  3. 51 percentile for ST- what kind of profile that guy must have been having?

    1. Hello.
I surely don't know about the profile but a major reason the cutoff gets this low is due to the lack of candidate pool in that particular category. Yet at this score too if you will see some seats across institutes remain vacant in ST category as the entire pool gets exhausted. Thanks :)

  4. Hi! I have 79 percentile in QA but sectional cutoff is 80. Do they strictly follow sectional cut offs?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hey.
Yes the sectional cutoffs are strictly followed to the point that if the cutoff is 80, a person with even 79.99 would not be getting a call. But do not worry try for other institutes. Thanks and All the Best :)

  5. Hey
Here how is Category-wise composite score cutoff for the final offer of admission less than Category-wise composite score cutoff for shortlisting to interview round? I'm a bit confused. Please clarify
    Thanks!

    1. Hey Bhumika.
That is indeed the case because the CS calculation for a shortlist to the interview round and for the final offer of admission is done differently. Thus, since the formula for doing so is different the scores also come out to be different with the final CS being less. I hope this cleared your doubt. Thanks :)

  6. Minimum Composite score for final offer of admission is for last waitlist ot the first list

    1. Hey.
The minimum CS for final offer of admission is for the last waitlist. Simply saying all the students above this CS in a particular category were offered admission by the institute. Thanks :)

Hi Ronit, this is very helpful…In this year my merit rank is 517 in OBC for IIM Indore. Will this get converted?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hi Prathamesh.
As per the trends over the last couple of years, 517 in OBC should give you a convert. However, you might need to wait a few lists for the same. Though please note this is as per the trends and my experience over the years and can go other way as well. Thanks and All the Best :)

    2. Hi Prathamesh ,

My obc rank is 516...Hope we both convert this year :)

  8. Hi, my merit rank is 955 in obc. Any chances of convert?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hi.
Merit rank at 955 is extremely difficult to convert in OBC to be frank. However, please note this is as per the trends of the last couple of years. Thanks and All the Best :)

  9. Hi Ronit, my merit rank is 369 under OBC category...chances of conversion?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hey.
369 in OBC should be a convert as per what I have seen over the last couple of years as generally old IIMs don't give buffer calls. However, this is again as per my experience and stats over the last couple of years. Thanks and All the Best :)

  10. Hey, my merit rank in General is 635, are there chances of conversion, if so in which list?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hey.
Frankly saying 635 is a bit on the edge and thus the chances of conversion would be 50:50. However, even if you do it would be by the last list of the institute before admission closure. Though please note this is as per my experience and trends over the years. Thanks and All the Best :)

  11. Can you please tell me that How many PWD candidates (person with disabilities) took admission into IIM Indore? What's the current category wise class composition? Data for PWD is missing.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hey.
I had filed to get details related to the PWD candidates in the current batch but somehow the institute did not provide the same to me and that was the reason the current class composition has that part missing. Thanks and All the Best :)

  12. How many waitlists go out for indore?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hey.
For every B-School the waitlist movement and the no. of waitlists is dependent on the vacancies available after each round. Hence, generally there would not be a fixed no. of lists. And better option to know of this would be to drop an email to the admissions committee. Thanks and All the Best :)

  13. Hi, Can you please clarify about the total no of pgp seats in indore. there is a lot of speculation regarding this. And how these seats are divided among categories?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hey.
So frankly, I haven't tracked the total no. of seats in every institute. But the government of India reservation percentage is as follows -
      1. NC-OBC - 28 %
      2. SC - 15 %
      3. EWS - 10 %
      4. ST - 7.5 %
      5. PWD - This is generally 5 % across categories.

You could simply drop an email to get the total seats and use the above percentages to get the numbers. The remaining is for General category. Thanks and All the Best :)

  14. Sir ,my IIM indore Merit rank in obc ncl is 750 . Will i be able to get admission offer? Please help

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hey Rishabh.
750 in the case of OBC seems a tad bit difficult to me due to only 27 percent seats. But again this is as per the trends of the last couple of yrs and it can go other way too. Thanks and All the Best :)

    2. I am praying it goes others way round.
