    1. Hey.
I would suggest to fill the form and take your chances as there are chances of conversion. However, you would need a solid interview to crack this institute the reason being its super high additional points for female candidates and non-engg. Though at this rate you would also get from other IIMs and especially IIT's. So if you are ok to settle with those then its not an issue to drop this institute. Thanks :)

    1. Hey.
First of all super congrats on getting the call.
Also, please note that every candidate who receives a call has an equal chance at grabbing a seat. However, the difference is in the efforts you put in to be the best in the interview. So prepare and practice well and you can definitely convert. Thanks and all the very best :)

  5. Sir i have a doubt regarding admission offered to students there are 233 seats in iim rohtak for pgp flagship programme but they had offered admission to 1800 approx students If all will apply for iim rohtak will they give admission to all ?

    1. Hey.
I understand that you have a doubt as to how the institute can give admission to so many students as compared to the available seats. But these are known as buffer calls as in the institute has a historical record of how many students declined admission offers as compared to those who were offered. And accordingly the institute gives additional offers. This is majorly done to reduce the multiple rounds of waitlist movement. Thanks :)

  6. In buffer call what will happen if more people accept the offer than seats available?

    1. Hey.
The colleges only give buffer calls based on historical analysis. Hence, that is never going to be case. Thanks :)

  7. What is vacant seat after admission closer....how can a top IIM have a vacant seat?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Hey.
That can always be the case if the candidate pool is exhausted or if the students leave for a better offer after the admission process is closed for the institute. And this is not just IIM Rohtak, it is with majority B-Schools including both major IIT's. Thanks :)

  8. Hello Sir,
The information provided through this platform is really amazing.
I had my Rohtak interview recently which was above average.
    Acads: 10/91.4/79.1
    Cat: 92.78
Non Engg, NC OBC, Male, Fresher
Should I be able to convert?

    1. Hey.
Thank you so much for your words and I am glad you loved the platform :)
Seeing your scores and the way you have stated about your interview, you should definitely have a chance of converting the institute. Though merit convert would be difficult but definitely good chances in subsequent waitlist movements. Thanks and All the Best :)

  9. any idea of composite score of waiting list?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hey.
So see since the composite scores mentioned above are of the last candidate to have been given an admission by the institute before admission closure there was no point in asking them to provide scores for being in the waitlist. Hence, I do not have the same. Thanks :)

    1. Hey.
If you are a female candidate then very good chances of conversion. However, if you are a male candidate you might still convert but will need to wait for a few lists. Also, please note I am saying this just on the basis of your percentile. However, a lot many factors like academic scores, background, etc. would need to be taken into consideration. Thanks and All the Best :)
