IIM Ahmedabad - Transparent Stats

For the IIM Ahmedabad PGP 2025–2027 batch, the admission process began with 2.68 lakh+ applications across categories, making it one of the largest applicant pools among Indian B-schools. From this vast base, only 1,330 candidates were shortlisted for the final evaluation stages, which means over 99.5% of applicants were filtered out before interviews. In simple terms, just 1 out of every 200 applicants even reached the interview stage.

The funnel narrowed further at the final selection stage. From the 1,330 shortlisted candidates, only 509 final offers were issued, resulting in a final offer rate of ~38% post-interview. When viewed end-to-end, barely 0.19% of total applicants received an offer from IIM Ahmedabad, clearly highlighting that selection is driven by consistent performance across profile, academics, CAT scores, and interviews — not just clearing a cutoff.
