Academic Questions - 
  1. From your grades it looks like mechanical engineering is your extracurricular activity, why is it so low?
  2. Shall I ask you a few questions from mechanical engineering?
  3. What is your favorite subject?
  4. Which coolant is used in Cars?
  5. What is the mechanism?
  6. If you inflate a balloon, what happens to its temperature inside?
  1. Why are diesel engines being reduced?
  2. Explain in detail about turbocharging.
  3. Questions from other parts of Mechanical Engineering.
Personal Questions - 
  1. So your hobby is trekking, what are all the places you've been to?
  2. Do you go alone or with company?
  3. Have you heard of a famous student from IIMC regarding mountaineering?
  4. What are the best Himalayan summits you've been to?
  5. What is the recent achievement that was in the news regarding mountaineering?
  6. I think mountaineering should be banned, they are polluting nature What do you have to say?
  1. Name a film of Allu Arjun and list qualities from the movie that will help you after becoming a Manager. (Pratheek had mentioned that Allu Arjun was his favorite actor and hobby as watching movies)
  2. Why is your CGPA low? How will you manage in IIM C?
Work Experience Questions - 

      Both candidates being freshers were not asked any questions from this category
    Current Affairs Questions -
    1. Do you keep track of things happening around you?
    2. Is Beef banned in Karnataka?
    3. Since not many people consume Beef, should its slaughter be banned? (Because It was in Karnataka news recently)
    4. What are all the states surrounding Karnataka? Go in clockwise order.
    1. List all the states in the country where elections are going on currently.

          No questions for Romanch from this category
    1. What is your percentile?
    2. What other calls do you have?
    Comments or Tips on Cracking IIM Calcutta Interview -
    1. I had a very candid panel, and your interview tone depends largely on your panelists so don't try to completely gauge how good your interview could be based on other's experiences (Romanch)
    2. Don't lie about yourself and be confident and spontaneous. (Pratheek)
