NOTE - The institute seems to have made some mistakes in providing data for the EWS category regarding the minimum percentile for shortlisting to the interview round. I have already sent for confirmation of the same and will update the same in case the institute confirms the error and sends back the updated information related to the EWS category.

NOTE -
- The no. of waitlists in each category is different as the waitlist movement depends on the availability of vacancies in each category as well as the total seats in that particular category.
- Hence, as general has the most no. of seats and the vacancies also tend to be higher in initial lists it has the highest no. of waitlists.
- In the same way, ST not only has the lowest no. of candidate pool generally but also seats are less as compared to the other categories. As a result, it only had 3 lists. Also, there are high chances that the candidate pool itself got exhausted which resulted in no more movement.

DeleteAs per the trends and the buffer calls that the institute might have given OBC-697 might give you a convert by one of the last lists. Please note that this is actually on the edge. However, this is as per what I have seen and also buffer calls vary each year. Thanks and All the Best :)

DeleteThe month and year is difficult to predict by 535 should be a convert by one of the last lists. That is because we don't know as of now how many buffer calls have been given by the institute. Also, please note this is as per my knowledge over the years. Thanks and All the Best :)

DeleteEWS-225 might slightly be on the edge taking into care the buffer calls the institute might have given. Though I still feel you should convert by the very last list. DeleteWell frankly saying WL-197 should be a convert but by the very last lists. Thus, the best option to do now is to book your seat at IIM BG and see the waitlist status by 24th June. If it is still too far from convert then you know you have to go to Bodh Gaya. Also, please note the conversion is as per my opinion over the years. Thanks and All the Best. DeleteAccording to the movement, you should convert in the next 2-3 lists. However, since you already have a Bodh Gaya convert, its better to book a seat for the safer side. Once you get a convert which you should before 24 June, you can withdraw the booking at Bodh Gaya. Thanks and congrats :)

DeleteI am sorry but I do not have the details regarding the buffer calls given by the institute last year as the same was not provided. But yes despite 450 there is surely going to be further movement. And more so because IIM I has recently declared its results. Thanks :)

DeleteGen-428 should give you a convert in the next few lists. This is however as per what I have seen and shall also depend on the buffer calls given this time.

I've been waitlisted at 971(OBC) but then in the very next round it moved down to 521. I know its tough but is there any chance for me to hope for conversion. can you please respond to this sir...

Very tough almost no chances please play safe and block seat in any iim or private bschool you have converted and then wait.
