    1. Hello.
I would say its not weird as every institute follows its own criteria when deciding on the no. of candidates it wishes to call for the interview process as well as extend the final offer of admission. Thanks :)

  2. Yes but the institute can't control the number of applicants who selected iim K/A/I/C? isnt the "Category-wise no. of candidates who filled the CAT form" not in their hands

    1. Hey.
Of course no IIM can control that and it is absolutely the candidates choice. Thanks :)

    1. Hello.
The percentile, CS and candidate pool varies each year and thus no one can predict these things as well as the movement. However, one reason might be that the general available pool itself might have a relatively lower percentile than the previous pools leading to such a situation. Thanks :)

  5. Sir what does the highest composite score means like for SC it is 61 if say I score 58 does I still have a chance or I have to score more than 61 like 62 or 63 ?

    1. Hey.
The highest composite score means the score of the first person to be offered admission by the institute as per the merit list. Thus, if you have to get admission you need to score more than the minimum CS. For SC that stands at 31.309. Thanks and All the Best :)

  6. Category-wise composite score cutoff for the final offer of admission : is this cutoff for the first list or the last list

    1. Hey.
This cutoff is for the last list that is the score of the last candidate to have been offered admission by the institute. Thanks :)
