  2. Hey great efforts from your side, really appreciate it. Just a little question, when you say minimum cs score for final admission. Do you mean for the ones who get direct converts in the final list or the minimum CS for the ones who got admission in the final waitlist?

    1. Hey.
Thank you so much for the appreciation. :)
For your question the minimum CS means the CS of the last individual to have been offered admission by the institute and not for the merit list. Thanks :)

    1. Hey.
Looking at your profile and the way your interview went I would still say you have a decent chance of conversion. Though conversion in merit list might be difficult but you should be able to convert in subsequent waitlists. Though please note this is as per what I have experienced over the years since no one can say with 100 percent surety. Thanks :)

  4. Hey,
I really appreciate the effort you have put into this.
A quick question, do you feel the CS would drop this year? I am thinking in standard terms, last year someone got 99 %ile at 97 score this year it was at 84. I feel their might be some drop in the CS.
Also, how do you rate my chances :-
    GEM
    CAT 98.61 (74.87/98.78/99.36)
    Xth/XIIth/Grad :- 93.4/90.4/83.6
    WorkEx :- 30 Months
    Average Interview.

    1. Hey.
Thank you so much for the appreciation. :)
For the first question, if the CAT score has dropped then it is for everyone. Thus, even if the CS goes low then everyone would also be having a lower CS as compared to last year so that evens out the process. Additionally, the CS varies every year.

Secondly, going by your profile and the interview you still should have a decent chance of conversion. Though it might be slightly difficult to get a direct merit but you should convert in subsequent waitlists. Though please note this is as per my experience over the years. All the Best :)

    1. Hey Ravi.
Thank you so much for the comments. It feels great to know that you found the blog useful :)

Looking at your profile, you should be getting a chance to convert almost all the CAP institutes. Though top ones like Ranchi, Trichy and Udaipur might take some time and would need to wait for a few lists. Please note though this is as per what I have seen and experienced over the years. Thanks and All the Best :)

    1. Hey Shivanshu.
Most welcome and I am really happy this could add value to a candidate's MBA journey :)

Coming to your profile, on a frank note getting a new IIM like Trichy would be slightly difficult being a GEM fresher. However, you might convert baby IIMs in later lists. Though please note this is as per my experience over the years and can go other way as well. Thanks and All the Best :)

    1. Hey.
Thank you so much for the words of appreciation that you have written. It feels great knowing that I contribute in any small way to make it better for the MBA community and the aspirants :)

Coming to your profile, you indeed have a very good one and having the non-engineer advantage, I would say you have a strong chance of getting a convert from the institute. Though it might be difficult in merit list but you should receive a convert eventually. Please note that this is as per my experience over the years and might go the other way as well. Thanks and All the Best :)

    1. Hi Sumedh.
With the results for CAP out, I suppose you should have received waitlists for many of them however in range for conversion in subsequent lists. Thanks and All the Best :)

    1. Hey.
As per the waitlist movements and the trends I have seen over the years, but the institutes should give you a convert. Though you might need to wait for a couple of lists to get the same. Thanks and All the Best :)

    1. Hey.
Thank you so much for your words.
While your profile looks great, the CAT percentile might turn out to be a culprit. Assuming you are from the general category, K or S seems a tad bit difficult to me. You may get a call from Udaipur but other baby IIMs like Nagpur and Vizag might be in reach. Thanks and All the Best :)

    1. Hey.
Looking at your profile and the interview, you should have pretty decent chances of converting the call. Even if not merit it should still be a waitlist convert. Though please note this is from my experience over the years and no one can be 100 percent correct. Thanks and All the Best :)
