My waitlist number in general is 259. What are the chances of conversion ?

DeleteIt is frankly on the very edge and if you get a chance for admission it will probably be in one of the spot rounds or if movement is good by the last list. I would still suggest to have a backup plan in place. Thanks and All the Best :)
What is spot round ? Can you explain the process for it please ?

DeleteSo once the waitlist process is over and if there are seats still vacant the institute goes for something known as spot round. Here, the institute contacts the candidates in the order of ranks and the candidate is given a choice either to accept the admission or reject the offer. If the candidate rejects the offer the same is passed immediately to the next one. This is basically a much quicker process and the candidate is give 2-3 days to pay the fees and book the seat. DeleteAs per the trends over the years, its exceptionally difficult considering it generally does not movement beyond double digits. Hence, would suggest you look at some backup option. Thanks and All the Best :)
General waitlisted at 186 an chances to convert? Maybe in spot round?
